“Hearth and Grove Fellowship Chorus started, well, as a fluke. In an off-hand comment on the Church Yahoo list, one of the gals said something to the effect of, "We should really start a Pagan Choir." ... and so we did. Ever since that moment, starting with three people and a director in someone's living room, HGFC has been growing musically, spiritually, and in numbers, to it's current incarnation of about 12 members strong.
We like to think of ourselves as an organic ensemble, and we are very proud of the fact that we write the majority of our own material. Every single person in the chorus contributes to everything we do, from the inception of the logo, to the hand-made stoles, to the poetry, melody and harmonies that are crafted - not only from a musical perspective, but from a magical one.
Our goal is simple: We desire to celebrate our Spirituality and Magic through song, be it a reflective tune or full-blown songspell. HFGC is very excited to be participating in this year's Expo, and we look forward to sharing our music with you."
Many Blessings!! Jenn Mayes, HGFC Director
