I have a question to add!
Q: I'm interested in vending at your event, together with my family members. Why can't my Vending Registration Fee cover them, too?
A: The Vending Registration Fee covers one (1) merchant and
one (1) merchant table. This means that the catered luncheon and guest
registration for that merchant is included in the $75.00 Vending Fee.
So the breakdown is $40.00 for the Vending Fee and $35.00 for the Guest Ticket.
Each person that attends the Expo must purchase a ticket, which includes the catered luncheon and enjoying the event activities. All monies collected goes to pay the Chicago Gaelic Park for the room, luncheon, and event costs. We know that you and your family will have a memorable time!
Q: Can I bring my own food and pay a discount ticket price?
A: The venue does not allow people to bring in any outside food or beverages, either for personal consumption or for retail selling. Your Expo Guest Ticket price of $35.00 includes either a regular or vegetarian lunch, beverages, and the event activities.
Q: What is this Mini Networking 'Meet & Greet' all about?
A: In the spirit of inter/intra-faith fellowship, Expo guests that represent different affiliations (groups, organizations, covens, temples, etc.) may participate in an activity designed to share their information with all Expo attendees. Those guests that indicate they wish to participate in the Mini Networking 'Meet & Greet' should bring printed information to share during this activity.
Q: Will "drop-in" guests be able to attend the Expo?
A: All guests must have a pre-paid ticket to enjoy the Expo, so visit our registration page and send in your registration applications now!
Q: Can I bring my children to the Expo?
A: Teenagers, ages 14 to 17, may accompany their parents. Teenagers wishing to attend the Expo must be registered by their parents, pay a registration fee of $20.00, and show their student IDs at the time of check-in.
Q: What kind of activities are going to be happening at this Expo?
A: Our first annual Midwest ~ midsummer event will be host to a special Round Table panel, a catered luncheon, a mini networking 'meet and greet', fabulous entertainment, and a selected group of area merchants. Of course, they'll be ample time to chat with old friends and meet new ones!
Q: Is this event only for Wiccans?
A: No, our Expo is open to all people of diverse faiths, communities, and groups in the surrounding Midwest area.
Q: I plan to arrive from out-of-town on Friday, are there hotel accommodations in the area?
A: Yes! Please make sure that you send us a note (under SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS) with your registration application. Include the number of people, handicap requirements, etc. We'll be happy to make overnight lodging reservations for you.
Q: Is lodging included in the registration price?
A: While we can arrange for overnight lodging, you must pay for your own hotel/motel accommodations. Please contact us to arrange reservations.
Q: Is there free parking?
A: Yes, the Gaelic Park Center offers free parking for Expo guests.
Q: Is the building handicap accessible?
A: Of course! Our Expo is located in the CELTIC ROOM, which is on the second floor.
Q: How far away are the restrooms?
A: The restrooms are directly outside the CELTIC ROOM.
Q: Is there a coatroom?
A: There is a large area to hang coats and place your private belongings.
Q: Is the building smoke-free?
A: Yes. In compliance with the Smoke Free Illinois Act, there is no smoking permitted inside a public place, a place of employment or outside within 15 feet from the door, windows that open or ventilation intakes.
Q: I'm on a special diet, can you get me a special dish that is not on your MENU page?
A: Please indicate on your registration application (under SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS) your dietary modifications.
